Libby supports her students from start to finish, providing advice on high school curriculum planning, standardized test-prep strategies, summer enrichment opportunities, college lists, essay coaching, and application preparation. Libby guides students applying to colleges and universities in the United States, Canada, and the U.K.
Libby provides a range of personalized services to guide students through every step of the college admissions process, beginning with an introductory meeting with a student and their parents.
9th | Although Libby is always available for consultations as needed at any time, she typically does not meet formally with students in 9th grade.
10th | One annual meeting between mid-January and the end of February to review grades, discuss the next year’s course selections, standardized testing, summer enrichment opportunities, and extracurricular activities.
11th | One annual meeting between mid-January and the end of February to review grades, discuss the next year’s course selections, standardized testing, summer enrichment opportunities, and extracurricular activities. Students are given college research tools, advice on college visits, and a targeted list of schools to visit and/or engage with virtually.
Summer Before 12th Grade | One meeting that takes place in June/July to review and refine the list of schools under consideration and create a work timeline for the completion of the Common Application, including the personal essay.
12th Grade | Custom student consultations as needed via email, Zoom, or in-person to finalize a student’s college list and complete all college-specific applications including supplemental essays.
